senses for ten days. Having received their licenses, most of the boys went fishing. The rest helped prepare supper. Around 6:00 we had dinner. Supper consisted of spaghetti, apple sauce, orange juice, and soup. It was delicious. Finally we all sot to sleep.

August 3, 1963 — T o d a y we got up, prepared breakfast and got ready for a hunter’s safety course at 9:00 a.m. Four scouts, Frank and Page Moffett, Skippy Giles, and Frank Robinson took the course. All four passed and got their hunter’s safety badges. During the afternoon some boys took part in a fly tying course. Each boy made a fly to use with his fishing gear.
