The larger ones were put on the barricade to build it up. The rest were put in a large pile. While this was going on, the table was being built.There were notches cut in the logs and slowly a table was formed. Stakes were driven in and nailed to the end pieces. At last, after this work, the table was finished. Before eating supper, the last piece of work was begun. A pole was cut and set up as a flagpole. When at last the flag flew from the top, we were deeply grateful. Tired from the work, we ate a delicious supper and then went to bed.
