Regulations and nomination forms have been received for Culpeper 1st Fall Yearling Sale to be held October 7th. Nominations are due by Sept. 16th. Interested Rappahannockans please contact this office.
The Rappahannock Angus Committee will be inspecting forty-one herds which have nominated for their Ocotber 15th sale. Estimates made by members last November and December indicated this sale would have around 1800 head. As result of the drought jmd several herds having been sold at present only 1050 head are expected. No doubt all calves will be lighter, however quality should be as high as ever. As potential feeders calves should be better than at any time during the 24 year history of the sale.

" Management school along' with' other Virginia County Agents Sept. 9th -21st inclusive. This will be a change-of-pace but no snap. Classes will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with review lectures at night Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Saturdays. Instructions have been received to, "plan on sticking around the week-end of Sept 14th; you'll need this time to take tests".
Going back to feeder cattle sales; it is fortunate only we are in a drought area; think what prices would be like were our buyers as short of feed as we are.
