Mrs. Thomas F. Atlqm

Mrs. Maggie Fitzallen Atkins, 86, died August 31, 1963 at the home of her son Herman B. Atkins In Luray. She had been In ill health for several years. She is survived by her husband Thomas F. Atkins. A native of Rappahannock, she was a daughter of B. F. Dodson and Alberta Bruce, and lived at "Honeysuckle Gleb" Sperryville for 70 years. Other survivors are three sons, J. Bradley Atkins, and Hugh S. Atkins, Sperryville, arid Herman B. Atkins, Luray; two daughters, Mrs. Susie Raleigh of Luray and Washington Dv C., and Mrs. Margaret Campbell, Sperryville; nine grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.

Graveside service was held Monday in Sperryville Cemetery at 11 a. m. with the Rev. H. E, Nicholson of Middleburg officiating. Active pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons, Robert Atkins, Hugh Atkins, Jr., Robert Shumate, Rob* ert Shumate, Jr., Walter Hicks Jr. and Wayne Atkins.
