Veterans Claims Office in Front Royal after a week's vacation. She spent several days at Virginia Beach accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Stokes, Mrs. Kathy Sheetz, Mrs. Nellie Higgs, Mrs. Catherine Rivenbarkand Miss Pauline Howard, all of Front Royal. Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Frank Cary also spent some time at Cacapon Park, W. Va. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Corbin of Annandale spent Labor Day with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster after returning from a weekend trip to Augusta and Bath Counties. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Jenkins were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Luther S. Jenkins, Jr. in Sperryville. The Rev. and Mrs. David Menchofer and sons, Earl, David, and Dale of Ontario, Canada were callers Monday of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook and other friends. Mr. Menchofer is a former pastor at the Methodist Church here. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and children Douglas and Joyce of Falls Church were holiday weekend guests of Capt. and Mrs. Cook.
