Marriage Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy of Slate Mills announce the marriage of their daughter, Jean Elizabeth, to James Christian Mlnnis, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Minnis of Boston, Va., on August 28, 1963, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend D. S. Singleton at the Baptist parsonage at 2:30 p.m. After a wedding trip to Nags Head, Mr. and Mrs. Mlnnis will make their home in Culpeper.
Miss Shirleen Dodson was hostess at a miscellaneous bridal shower at her home in Arlington on August ? for the bride.
