Inspection of Rappahannock herds consigning to the 1st Culpeper Feeder Calf Sale was completed last Thursday by James F. Massie, William E. S. Jones, and your County Agent. A total of 209 head were approved as follows: Woodrow Coughlin . . 18 steers, Piedmont Farm. . 28 steers and 26 heifers, Eldon Inc. 86 steers, Landon Luttrell. . 3 steers and 3 heifers and Meadow Grove Farm.. .45 steers. Meadow Grove and Piedmont plan to exhibit pens of five steers in the show Culpeper is planning this year in conjunction with their sale scheduled for September 26th.
