The Milking Parlor will be manned and supervise^. by personnel supplied by t h e Virginia State Dairymen’s Association. Milk secured during the demonstrations will be sold to partly defray the cost of operation. The modern machinery to be installed will milk four cows at a time under strict sanitary conditions. Plans call for the milking of all open class and junior dairy cattle on exhibit. Exhibitors may use their own herdsmen if they operate under the prescribed supervisory regulations. There will be two demonstrations each day and each
will last for two hours. Fair patrons will be informed as to the scheduled demonstrations. Speed is not the main purpose of the demonstration but rather to show the advantages in mechanical milking.
