first meeting of the Executive Board of Rappahannock County Library was held Friday evening, August 30 at the library in Washington, with Chairman William M. Carrigan presiding. Committee members representing all magisterial districts of the county were present.
Chairmen for each committee of three were named as follows; Mrs.R. G. Quaintance Jr., Hawthorne; Mrs. Paul Nichols, Wakefield; Mrs. R. E. Patzig, Piedmont; E. M. Jones, Hampton; Mrs. Dorothy Spicer, Jackson and Mrs. James Falls, Stonewall. The following standing committees were also named:
