Weaver’s,Inc.
M. Bernard Pater, formerly of Colonial Heights, has assumed his duties as manager of Weaver’s Inc., in Front Royal. He replaces W. Douglas Blanton, who will manage a store in Williamsburg.
Mr. Pater was transferred from Colonial Heights to Davidson’s; Inc. in Farmville, where he was temporary store manager.- Prior to that, he was with the headquarters staff of Southern Department Stores, of which Weaver’s is a member, in its men’s and boy’s division. The new manager has 12 years of work in a retailing background in small town department stores, including two large stores in Ohio. He is experienced in all phases of soft goods department stores such as Weavers. Mr. Pater was graduated from
