ADVANCE sales of Virginians commemorative Bicentennial license plates have exceeded the expectations of the Division of Motor Vehicles, so Commissioner Vern L. Hill has authorized mailing
to begin immediately to customers who made early application. Over-the-counter sales are also authorized and Virginia passenger car owners may display the plastes as soon as received, without waiting for the previously announced January 1 starting date.
