VEHICLE BURGLARIZED
Trooper C.A. Moore investigated the burglary of articles from a vehicle north of Flint Hill early December 1. A 1969 Pontiac owned by Eddie L. Frazier ol Sperryville was broken into and a tape player taken. The inspection sticker was taken from the broken windshield also.
The trunk of the car was prized open and its contents, a Black & Decker sander, several socket wrenches and some personal papers, taken, said the officer.U
Thrift shop
raised $1,855
The Thrift Shop sponsored and operated by the Ladies Auxiliary to Washington Fire and Rescue organizations took in $1,855 at the shop during the year, from April until December. The shop has closed for the winter and will reopen April 2, 1976.
Mrs. Charles C. Burke, chairman of the shop and Mrs. Edward Clark, president of the Auxiliary expressed appreciation to all who have donated articles for sale or who have made purchases. It is this patronage which makes the shop possible and progressive.
