Directors of the F & M National Corporation at their monthly meeting held November 10, declared their regular ten cents per share quarterly dividend and a yearend extra cash dividend of seven cents per share. The distribution will be made on December 28, to shareholders of record November 28, 1975, and will bring the total yearly dividend payout to 50 cents per share—an increase of seven cents per share over 1974. The total dollar amount of the Corporation’s yearly dividend will amount to $543,933.50, an increase of 19.6% over that paid last year.

Management of the Corporation stated that “improved earnings and a more realistic yield on investments” were principal reasons for the additional payout.
