A bake sale will be held in the Williams Grocery Store Saturday, Dec. 13. from 10 a.m. until 2p.m., sponsored by the Chester Gap Baptist youth, the proceeds to be used in Christmas projects.
Steve Shack of Brooklyn, N. Y., arrived Friday for a visit with the James Williams, and Mrs. Ethel Haslam of Wheeling, W. Va., was a Sunday dinner guest. Mrs. Williams and daughter Kay spent Thursday on business in Hagerstown, Md.
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department was called to a chimney fire at the Bennie Atkins’ home in Chester Gap December 4. No damage reported.
