Julie Burke, the nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke, who was ill and out of school last week, and Monday, the 8th, entered Winchester Memorial Hospital for tests and treatment.
Saturday evening Mrs. Betty Costello and Mrs. Louise Mills were hostesses at a baby shower for Mrs. Judy Grimsley in the Costello home. Others present were: Mrs. Annie Jenkins and Peggy of Fairfax, Mrs. Shirley Huff of Washington, Va., Mrs. Ada Grimsley and Mrs. Mildred James of Flint Hill, Mrs. Frances Rudacille, Miss Fay Eckley, and Miss Debbie, Martin, all of Front Royal, Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey and daughters, Kim and Kelly of Chester Gap, Melissa and Bonnie Grimsley, and Jamie Costello, of Huntly.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eubank and Donald and Mark Steele were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Foster on Strasburg Road. Mrs. Eubanks reports that her mother, Mrs. Rixie Frye, continues in Warren Memorial Hospital.
