NOW for some sports news... Last Wednesday our basketball Panthers had a game with Clarke County High. For the Varsity game the scores were 85-74 in favor of Clarke County. In JV competition, Rappahannock bowed by two points, losing 37-35.
Friday the Panthers took on Stonewall Jackson High. The scores were, Varsity 69-59 in favor of Stonewall and the JV score, also in favor of the opponent, was 5240.
Though we have not experienced a victory, from seeing our teams in action so far, it seems a game might be coming our way soon. Both teams are playing well this year and the games have been exciting.
Our Panthers are on the war path—go get ’em, Panthers!
