NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Area 1 Health Systems Agency, Inc., is seeking provisional designation as the Northwestern Virginia Health Systems Agency, Inc., to perform the health planning and developmental function by T.L. 93641 for Federally designated Health System Area 1 of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Area is comprised of Planning Districts 6, 7, 9, 10 and 16.
The Agency will conduct a public hearing on its application to the Department of Health, Education and Welfare for provisional designation on December 22, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Room of the Second National Bank of Culpeper.
All residents of Planning District 9 (Counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock) are invited to appear and make their views known to the Agency.
As required by Paragraph 122.104 of the 42CFR122, published in the Federal Register, Volume 40, Number 202 - Friday, October 22, 1975, copies of the applicant qualifications, proposed bylaws indicating ultimate composition of the governing body, and the first year’s work program are available for inspection and copying by all interested parties during normal operating hours at the Health Department, Culpeper, Virginia and at all major libraries.
