Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnston of Boston, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Compton and Mrs. Clarence Compton of Culpeper called on Mrs. Henry Brown and Miss Elva Bruce Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz, Gregg, Philip and Derek and their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daczewitz, visited Monticello in Charlottesville Sunday. While in the area, they also visited Mrs. Joel Daczewitz' grandfather, E. P. Brown, who is a patient in University Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson returned home Monday after spending the winter months in Lakeland. Fla., and were dinner guests that evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson. Patricia Maldoven of Arlington was a Saturday overnight guest of Kristie Johnson.
Brew Burke returned home Sunday after being a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mrs. John Henry Woodward and Jeffrey of Castleton called on Mrs. Burke Saturday and Lottie Thornhill of Boston was a Sunday afternoon visitor.
Col. and Mrs. J. S. Terrell Jr., of Virginia Beach and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Terrell of Dillwyn visited Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. Dillard Glenn Friday after attending the funeral of their uncle, Brockman Winfrey, in Martinsburg, W. Va.
Johnnie Quaintance of Arlington and a friend from Culpeper were Sunday afternoon callers on Mrs. Henry Wood and the H. B. Wood family. Sunday dinner guests were Miss Mary Miller Wood, Dr. and Mrs. Carroll
