On April 13, the Flint Hill Rescue Squad carried Miss Lucy Estes from her home near Washington to Warren Memorial Hospital and took Mrs. Victoria Jenkins from the Aileen Plant near Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital. On the same date, the Flint Hill Fire Dept, was called to a station wagon on fire on the Rt. 211 bypass near Washington.
Mrs. Alice Brady was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital from her home in Flint Hill on April 15 by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad and on April 17, the Flint Hill Fire Dept, was called to help fight a fire in the woods on Nixon Arm Mountain near the park area.
