Rappahannock Panthers defeated Luray and bowed to Warren County in games played respectively, Friday and Saturday.
The Varsity Golden Panthers baseball team got three runs from the fourth of its lineup to hand Luray a 4-3 defeat at home on Friday, April 14.
Weasel Carter initiated the scoring drive as he gained first on a walk in the fourth. Third baseman Gary Settle hit a single, driving Carter to second. Jeff Jenkins, catcher, hit a fly and took first, batting Carter in. Brooke Miller singled with a hit to right field, driving Settle and Jenkins home.
The final run was scored in the sixth by Weasel Carter as Jefflenkins singled and then stole to second, sending Carter home.
