Members of Cub Pack 50 of Amissville and their leaders will be cleaning the roadside along the five miles of Route 642 between Hackley’s Store in Amissville to Viewtown this Saturday, April 22, from 8:00 a.m. until around 2:00 p.m.
Drivers are asked to use extreme caution while driving on this route during the day.

Officer Hired
Carl Dewayne Bentley of Woodville has accepted the position of Corrections Officer at the Rappahannock County jail. He succeeds R. H. Dick Jenkins who resigned to join the Prince William County police force. With his wife Pamela, Bentley moved Sunday into the living quarters of the jail.
