Available
Virginia city and county governments can apply to the Virginia Commission of the Arts and Humanities for grants to match increases in local government funds for the arts.
"New” money for the arts from local governments, up to $5000. may be matched dollar for dollar.
The grants may be used for programs or personnel of any community arts activity. Town, city, or county governments, or groups of local governments, may apply at any time after April 1 for projects beginning after July 1. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
