Brownie troops from Rappahannock Elementary joined the troop from Wakefield School Saturday to plant bulbs at Helen and Howard Holschuh's camp ground near Castleton. but it wasn’t easy.
The joint “Outdoor Day" for Trinips 929 and 955 from RC’ES and Troop 312 from Wakefield had been planned since fall, but a school makeup day at RCF.S interfered, so the cookout planned for lunch was changed to a supper cookout.
Meanwhile the Wakefield girls got to the campground in the morning, prepared their lunch, but they had to leave before supper, so the bulb planting was about all the get-together that was left.
