Or just with the latter half of it? l.e., does “CP” agree with the merit system for salary adjustments which 1 have recommended? (6) “CP” says the letter must be anonymous because “1 am sure it would cause repercussions for my children.” To suggest that any teacher, administrator, or School Board member in Rappahannock County would take out on innocent children their resentment against “CP” for expressing opinions publicly is an enormity. This, indeed, is a sorry tale. This terrible accusation in print deserves either another apology in print or a factual report to the proper authorities as to who has done or is doing such a thing.
But let’s not play Joe McCarthy in Rappahannock County. And let’s not use innocent children as pawns in wage controversies as has already been done in certain unbeautiful places elsewhere, l^t’s not assume that the
