Season To Begin
Summerduck Run Farm, south of Culpeper on Rt. 652 off Rt. 522, has scheduled its fourth annual Spring Horse Show to begin at 9 a.m. April 30 with judging by Delmar Twyman of Montpelier.
The show will feature championship divisions for hunter breeding, baby green, novice, green and pony hunters, equitation, pleasure and short stirrups.
A trophy and ribbons will be awarded in each class with championship trophies and ribbons given in each division.
Grand year-end high point awards will be given in the pony hunter, green hunter and junior equitation divisions. Points toward those awards may be earned at all Summerduck Run Farm, Lake of the Woods and Holly Hill Stables horse shows.
All entries at the Summerduck shows are post entries and stalls are provided. Lunch also will be available on the grounds.
