Academic Excellence

Eight Rappahannock students were recognized for academic excellence during the winter quarter at Lord Fairfax Community College. Dr. William H. McCoy, college president, announced that Mark Bailey of Washington, Florence Roman of Chester Gap and James Wayland of Sperryville completed at least a 12 quarter-hour credit load with a 3.8 honor point average minimum and were named to the President’s Academic Honors List.

Richie Burke from Woodville, Daniel Mulcahy from Chester Gap, Charles Sisk from Sperryville, and Peter Skowronski and Lewis Smoot from Washington made the Dean’s List by achieving at least a 3.2 honor point average.
