Supervisors turned down Goode's request in September, 1977 for rezoning from agriculture to residential subdivision by a 3to-2 vote. Subsequently, Goode filed suit challenging the county's action. The case has been repeatedly continued and is still before the court.
At the December 1978 Board meeting, Supervisor cftTirman E. P. Luke maintainedv that the Supervisors should take no further action on Goode’s request until the current suit is resolved. Luke, however, was absent from last week’s meeting. Neither Davis nor the other Supervisors mentioned the ongoing litigation.)
