Elwood and Bessie Jenkins of Sperryville lost all of their clothing and household possessions in a fire December 27. Their neighbors. Lester and Hazel Deal, are heading a campaign to secure clothing and furnishings for them.
Mr. Jenkins wears a medium size shirt and pants 34 waist and 30 leg; Mrs. Jenkins takes a size 18 or 18‘/2 dress. There are five children in the family, two boys, sizes 34x30 and a small man’s shirt and size 12 slim pants and small shirt. The three girls wear size 3 dress, 7 or 8 dress and size 10 dress.
Also most acceptable will be food or contributions of' money for the family has nothing except what they were wearing. If you wish to contribute or have a piece of furniture to give call Mrs. Deal at 987-8203 or Mrs. Jenkins’ parents 987-8461.
