A rabies vaccination clinic for dogs is scheduled for this Saturday, January 13 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the fire house in the Town of Washington, directly across the street from the courthouse. The cost of the vaccination is $3.50 per dog. Dr. Fayette Witherell will be the veterinarian conducting the clinic.
A current rabies inoculation certificate is required before dog tags may be purchased and dog tags for 1979 are due by January 31. The Rappahannock Treasurer’s office in the cJfcVthouse complex across tfie street from the clinic location will be open the same hours. 10 until 2, for the sale of dog tags, to coincide with the clinic. Dog owners will be able to complete all necessary transactions before leaving for home.
