The weekend residence of Joseph Bow near Woodville was broken into in midDecember and personal property estimated to be valued in excess of $500 was taken, according to former deputy R. D. Hawkins of the Rappahannock Sheriff's Department.

All of the articles have been recovered by Hawkins and Jimmy Wayne Nicholson of Sperryville has been charged with the theft. Nicholson was accompanied by a juvenile in the breaking and entering of the Bow home. Robert Festus Jenkins of Woodville has also been charged with receiving stolen goods and charges are pending against others, said Hawkins.

Investigation of the theft of items taken between the middle and last of December from the home of Jane Becker on Route 627 continues. More than $1000 in antiques, linens, and kitchen equipment were missing. A breaking and entering of the residence of Edward C. Bryant at Huntly occurred during the last of November or first of December. Missing from the residence were « groceries, tools and cleaning items. Investigation continues on this also and the Sheriff of Rappahannock asks anyone knowing anything about it to please contact him or his' department.
