Tupper Enlists

Michael W. Tupper, son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas P. Tupptr of Washington, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in December.

Upon successfully completing the Air Force’s sixweeks basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, he will receive training in the Telecommunications Operations Specialist career area. He will be earning credits toward an associate degree in applied science? through the Community College of the Air Force while attending basic and other Air Force technical training schools.

Tupper is a 1976 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.

Course Offered

A winter semester graduate course on “CompetencyBased Instruction For Teachers” (EDUC 501-1) is scheduled by James Madison University at Lord Fairfax Community College beginning Monday, January 15th. The course will be conducted between 4:00 and 6:50 p.m. in Room 30 at the Middletown campus.

Instructor will be Dr. Hal McMullen, an advocate and teacher of performance based instructional systems for improving conventional teaching.
