Frye

Raymond Jackson Frye, 61, of Sperryville died January 4, 1979, at Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Son of Mrs. Mittie Catherine Rutherford Frye of Broadway, and the late Samuel Jackson Frye, he was a native of Rappahannock County. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Marie Woodard Frye; his mother; a daughter, Mrs. Rena Mae Dodson of Front Royal; two sons, Maynard E. Frye of Stafford and Rudolph J. Frye of Sperryville; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Atkins of Luray, Mrs. Lester Dodson of Front Royal, and Mrs. Clifton Frazier of Broadway; and a foster brother, Charles H. Frye of Luray.

A funeral was held Saturday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. Ray R. Campbell. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
