Generally in agreement that fire insurance coverage on the county Court house needs to be increased, the Rappahannock Supervisors, at their January 4 meeting, asked county engineer Fanning Baumgardner to determine the square footage in the building and to figure replacement costs at between $40 and $45 a square foot.

An urgent meeting of those interested in a Rappahannock Farmer's Market will be held Tuesday, January 16, 1979 at 7:30 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington.
A market site will have to be decided, temporary officers elected and other basic matters worked out for the coming season.
Persons of all ages interested are urged to attend.
