The procedure for paying state estimated income tax has been changed for 1979, the Virginia Department of Taxation reports. Estimated tax is the procedure for paying currently any state income tax due in excess of the tax being withheld from wages or other pay by an employer. The major change is that the estimated tax form. 760ES, will not be included in the 1978 packet of state tax forms now being mailed to more than 1.8 million taxpayers.
