Miss Sherry Lee Kirkland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kirkland of Front Royal, and Hubert S. Gilkey IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert S. Gilkey 111, were married in the Gilkey home Dec. 31. 1978.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. William Alford, pastor of Chester* Gap Baptist Church.
Tina Rossi of Front Royal was maid of honor, and Billy Longmire of Chester Gap was best man.
The bride is a 1977 graduate of Warren Co. High School, and the groom attended Rappahannock High School.
They are presently making their home at Criser Heights.
