Taxpayers who do not receive the form, or who meet the filing requirements for the first time in 1979, should contact their local commissioner of the revenue or director of finance for forms and assistance.
A taxpayer is required to file an estimated income tax form in 1979 if his or her income is expected to exceed wages covered by withholding by $400 or more during the coming year.
