Mrs. David Streagle was in Abingdon Friday and Saturday to attend the Association of District Court Clerks of Virginia at the Martha Washington Inn. While there she attended the Barter Theatre. She was a visitors Monday of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Peck and Mr. and Mrs. James Powell in Herndon.
Mrs. Mattie Hackley, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Mae Settle of Rixeyville, visited Sunday with Mrs. Mary Bowling at Fredericksburg.
Marc and Shannon Streagle, accompanied by Bobby and Lee Baines of Ben Venue, were overnight guests Friday and spent Saturday with Sally Mann in McLean. Ms. Mann, Marc and Shannon were over night visitors Saturday of Mrs. Sarah Latham and Sunday evening they had dinner at Dan’s Steak House near Luray. Evening callers in the Latham home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Huff of Herndon.
