A special one-day “Workshop for Prospective Business Owners” will be held at the Holiday Inn, Junction 1-66 and Route 234, Manassas, Virginia, Thursday, October 18, starting at 8:30 a.m. The workshop is designed for persons who want to go into business for themselves, and will give participants an understanding of what is required in starting a business. Among the topics to be covered are selecting a location, organization and planning business regulations, record keeping, estimating capital requirements, obtaining financing, sources of aid and information. Ample time'will be available for the individual questions and answers.
