Overnight Camp
Forty-two 4-H’ers attended Powell’s Fort Overnight Camp in George Washington National Forest in August.
Rappahannock came home with Julie Burke’s tribe winning the Spirit Stick and the Hands Awards; Aaron Schumaker, the Spirit of Camp award; Willie Arias, the Heart award and Michael DeLuise, the First Year Camp Award.
Junior Leaders were Gary Settle, Joe McCullough. Kelly Gilkey, Courtney Jones and Big Chief Paul Keithly.
Adult leaders were Kim Gilkey, Nancy Secrist and Rap Owings.
