My eight years as deputy commission of revenue are the most important but prior to that I had many, many years of good experience. I graduated from high school in 1942 and I worked before I graduated in the principal’s office. I’ve been working ever since.
There was one job with Ebasco Services a large engineering and management consulting firm that I’m particularly proud of. I worked in their Washington office as executive secretary and assistant to the Washington Business Development Representative. They were a very large company with headquarters in New York. They did a lot of foreign work. They had offices in Chicago, offices on the coast, in San Francisco, in Dallas and then smaller offices throughout the country.
