with offices in Washington. Fitzgerald is the former legal counsel for the Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals with a bill of $4,423.55 still unpaid for his services.
Fitzgerald was retained by the BZA as attorney in cases involving the Rappahannock Ski Corporation and Sperryville antique dealer P. E. Steve DeMent. In April, 1978, the board of supervisors voted to limit payment on Fitzgerald’s fees to $1,800 in the BZA account at that time. The supervisors subsequently voted on three separate occasions to deny payment of the balance owed to Fitzgerald.
Following Thursday’s executive session with Fitzgerald and Hertz, vicechairman, J. R. Latham reported that no action had been taken.
