Festival
The Front Royal Kiwanis will sponsor a bluegrass music festival as part of the town's annual Festival of the Leaves this weekend, October 13 and 14.
The bluegrass festival will be held at Bing Crosby Stadium from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 14. In case of rain, the music makers will move indoors to the Warren County High School* auditorium.
Groups expected to participate in the festival include Whiskey Creek led by Dr. Craig Zunka of Front Royal, Bluegrass Legacy of Funkstown, Md., Mountain Laurel from Toms Brook, First Class Grass and the Turkey Run Cloggers from Washington, D. C.
Tickets at $3 may be obtained from members of the Front Royal Kiwanis Club or at the gate. Children under 12 will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
