Since my husband died, I have been attending the tax conferences put on jointly by VP1 and the Internal Revenue Service and the State Department of Taxation. I think this has been very helpful because the tax laws do change every year and unless you keep up with it you don’t know. They pass out papers giving all the changes plus they have a question and answer period. I’ve learned a lot during these three day sessions.
