Assuming that autumn will continue after last week’s disastrous interruption, all signals are on go for'the twenty-third annual' house tour and dried flower sale scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21. Tour hours are 11 to 5 Saturday and from 1 to 5 Sunday. Tour headquarters and' the flower salesroom will be located at" the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.

Three homes will be open for ' the tour. They include Robin Hill, home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vawter in Flint Hill; Cave Lot, down'the F. T. Valley, which is former Senator Etigene McCarthy’s home and Mont Marlahthe home in Sperryville of Mrs. T. M. Johnston.

The gentle beauty and dignity of Robin Hill is typical of “Our Rappahannock Heritage.” Documents indicate'that 150 years ago wagon trains of adventurers' heading west assembled nearby and Other documents tell of the raids by Yankee soldiers when cattle, horses and pigs were carried
