(Continued from Page 2) Eastham asked if McDaniel had any objections to (1) grouping gifted or talented students together on the basis of ability, (2) sending'these students to other school districts as representatives of Rappahannock with the school board paying the cost, (3) devoting a portion of their School day to' their special interests or talents, and (4) paying specially trained teachers a higher salary for working with gifted and talented students.
“I’m describing the gifted and talented program ' that has existed in Rappahannock for years. I’m talking about our program for gifted and talented basketball players," Eastham stated.
