He posed'the possibility of hiring a resource teacher. “If we’re going to do something dramatic, we need additional personnel who can devote a lot of time” to gifted and talented students, “the leaders of tomorrow,’" he said.
He noted that the state reimburse localities for extra money spent on'these future leaders at' the rate of $40 per student while certain categories of special education receive reimbursement up to $850 per pupil.
