I woke up October tenth. I saw snow on the ground! I went doownstairs and went outside and I saw snow! I asked my sister if there was school. She said "No.” I went back to bed. Then I woke up again. Then I came downstairs again. Then I asked my sister, “Is it snowing?” She said “Yes.”

A tree fell on my house. I think it was almost a couple of inches. My grandmother told me to get up. She said it was snowing. I said, “No, it is not.” Then”she said “I don’t think there will be school today.” I said anyway we would have school. The lights went out. We used candles. When night came, we used candles at night too. I heard trees cracking. They sounded like ‘ shotguns going off. We had to cook breakfast on a wood stove and dinner and supper too. We couldn’t get out of the road. There was a tree where my dad kept pigs. I wanted to come to school today. It wasrthe badest snow we have had.

I woke up and went in' the kitchen and got some crackers and apple butter. I heard a tree fall on the roof. I went in' the living room. And saw that it was SNOW!!!
