Among the 25 cyclists were Ruth Curtis .of Chicago and Richard Hubbard of Newton Centre, Mass. The society has members all over the world and tours are scheduled a year in advance. Mrs. Curtis said she had over a thousand dollars invested in her bicycle which is specially geared. If you give out before you get up the mountain, the “sag car” comes along and picks you up, she said.
