Bridge Party

The Sperryville Bridge Club met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Charles H. Estes and prize winners were Mrs. Cordle, Mrs. McNear, Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Thompsen.

Guests were Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. C. E. Johnson Jr., Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. Charles K. Estes, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Frances Table and Mrs. R. E. Thompsen.

Engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Myers of Bealeton announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Louise, to Ttromas Gene Metzinger, son of Col. and Mrs. Dale Metzinger of Sperryville.

Susan is a junior at Bluefield College, Bluefield, majoring in elementary education. Tom is a senior at Bluefield College majoring in behavioral science.

No date has been set for the wedding.
