OTHER PUBLIC PLACES OF THE TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ERECTING, MAINTAINING, AND OPERATING A TELEPHONE SYSTEM I NCLUDI NG ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, AND PRESCRIBING CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SAID COMPANY IS TO OPERATE.
SECTION 1. All poles erected by the Company shall be neat and symmetrical, and be so located as in no way to interfere with the safety or convenience of persons traveling on or over the said streets, alleys, highways and other public places.
SECTION 2. The location of poles erected by virtue of this ordinance shall be subject to the supervision of the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Washington or their successor in function, and the Company shall replace and properly repair any sidewalks or street pavement which may have been displaced or damaged by it in the construction and maintenance of its system, and upon failure of the Company to do so, after twenty (20) days' notice in writing shall have been given by the Mayor and Town Council or his successor in function to the Company, the
